Blessed Hope Baptist Church
Abounding in Love, Abiding by Faith, Abundant in Hope
Grounded in the Word. Growing in Grace.
Blessed Hope Baptist Church began in January of 2017 here in Newport. We are an independent, Bible-believing, Bible-preaching congregation committed to the continual preeminence of the Lord Jesus Christ in everything we do.
“Within a year's time, the Lord totally rearranged my life. He took me out the job I had, put His call to preach on me.” Pastor Chasteen has led our church family since its founding, and it is his heart — and ours — to see people belong, grow, and prosper through consistent, biblical teaching.
— Pastor R. Shannon Chasteen
